One of Perth’s youngest private clubs, Lakelands’ former progressive management financed a major redevelopment through the sale of excess land, with course changes led by local designer Terry Gale.

Panned by some for it’s lack of visually intimidating topography the course provides an entertaining flat walk well suited to the club’s age demographic.

It will be interesting to see if a future change of directors can realise the potential of the site and match the magnificent new clubhouse.
